STARS is a comprehensive bespoke early reading strategy that is accessible to all learner type. The strategy ensures progression through language and early reading skills.
The pathway can evidence progress from engagement steps through to formal reading, thus meeting the needs and level of our learners. It considers and has refined expressive and receptive communication skills. Small steps are identified and celebrated through a certification scheme.
