Autism Awareness Day
April is Autism Awareness month and at Old Hall, we have celebrated this. We learnt about how people with Autism see the world differently, we learnt some strategies to help and about successful/famous Autistic people, encouraging pupils to be proud of who they are despite their differences and that it is their differences that make them unique. Every pupil in school created a jigsaw piece, which we put together to create our own Autism Awareness posters. We are also inviting parents to get involved and display a poster in their window at home for the month of April. Posters are available on request from school.
